Rent a boat to Pakleni islands
Best way to explore the islands is to rent a little boat on your own ,dont need licence or any major skills to do it and its so fun.We got our little boat from Rent a Boat Mate Excellent service from the start to the finish.Price was right , better then other places we checked but thats not why we decided to go with them.Mate and his team were very friendly and honest we felt they really wanted us to feel safe and enjoy our time( what we did!)They got as well prepared for our own excursion of Pakleni islands with 15 min lesson of how to use the boat,docking...Boats were clean and fully equipped (cooler box , ladder).Great tips of which bays to visit to swim and relaxed to avoid crowds of people and boats ...Highly recommend.

Stunning, magical. Sunset is amazing.
Maybe an advantage of travelling during the pandemic. Peaceful and stunning without lot's of tourists. Highly recommend. We hired a private guide, sailed and explored the various islands. Relaxing and educational. Sunset was magical. Can get chilly so take a light throw. Either hire a private boat / guide or rent a boat for the day. Best way to explore from Hvar.

Visited several including Milni Beach and Parmazani using water taxis from Hvar
Lovely islands, basic in many ways and so rustic but also lots of expensive restaurants and bars. Not cheap for family of five getting across to the islands ranging from 500 to 350 kuna return. Must visit at least once as most of the Hvar beaches not that great and very stoney everywhere. Some snorkelling off the islands coves but so many boats morred up we hope a day trip in our hired boat maybe better
