Lovely national park
Mljet National Park has a lot to offer: gorgeous views of the sea and of inland lakes, great biking (through the park and/or around the big lake), swimming, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and more. They do check park tickets at a few entrances/locations, so if you go for more than one day, be sure to have your tickets with you at all times. (You can buy tickets in Pomena, and probably Polace as well). Beautiful park, really enjoyed the nature, peacefulness, solitude at times (like while out kayaking on the big lake), biking... Hidden gem for sure.

Fun bike tour
We rented E bikes in the town of Polace on the Island of Mljet. The E bikes are a must, to get to the park one must bike up and down some very steep hills. Once at the park it is pretty flat and very pretty. The only wrinkle is crossing the lake, you have to go down and up some stairs and the bikes are pretty heavy. The whole bike ride takes about an hour. Well worth it.
