    Stunning view at a price
    Without a doubt if you plan your day(must be good weather)the views are truly stunning down to the old city and to outskirts of the city and the nearby Islands The Panorama restaurant on the top is an excellent place to wind down relax and take in the view. If you stick to a hot drink then the value is good and take your time .A bit pricy otherwise but that is the premium for the superb view. Here is the negative If you buy a ticket for cash you get to "jump the queue" whilst if paying by card you have to patiently wait in the main queue. Don't understand the logic applied why can't you buy at same point(cash or card) then everybody understands the system . It is a bit pricy but for the energetic there is the option of a one way ticket(up) and then a long downhill walk from the top .If you are at the front of the queue when it is your turn make sure you head straight for the rear rail for the best views of the city going up

    nice ride
    nice ride. too bad most of the time your photos will be marred by the cables. so to make lemonade out of lemon, just make sure the cable car is in your photos. in May, the sun is setting at the direction of Lapad peninsula. therefore you wont get the evening rays hitting the Dubrovnik old town and illuminating it. I think early morning might actually be a better time to get a good photo with the soft light there is a fine dining restaurant at the top of the hill. surprisingly the price is about the same as most restaurants in Dubrovnik, which means pricey but not more outrageously expensive. you need advanced reservation if you want a table right at the edge looking out to the Adriatic coastline
