    Awesome glimpse to the past
When first walking through the ancient grounds of the palace, we were considering buying a ticket to climb up the tower but since it was still rather hot we decided against it and keep wandering around the old town instead. When we got handed a flyer for Diocletians Dream on our stroll, we thought we‘ll check this out instead and we were rewarded with an awesome experience which we can only recommend to everyone visiting the city. After you‘ve seen the 15 min VR movie, you‘ll wish the palace and its surroundings would still look like back in the old days. At the end of the movie you‘ll see how the places look now (with tourists and souvenir shops) and I was just glad we didn‘t get a ticket for the several sites to see but went ahead with the VR experience. Diocletians Dream, thanks for giving us a glimpse to the past glory of the palace!

What did Diocletian's Palace look like when it was first built? Here you can get an idea.
It was really interesting to see an artists impression of what Diocletian's Palace could have looked like 1700 years ago. It must have been a sight to behold for sure. And the use of VR goggles was perfect for the task, I would recommend anyone with a bit of time to spare while in Split to go and see Diocletian's Dream in VR.
