4.5Lake Kawaguchiko(2.312 reviews) - Enjoyable a peaceful Kawaguchi lake Bodies of Water • Scenic Walking Areas
Not too far from Tokyo, you can reach this lake by public transport such as bus or train. If you want to be more flexible, I recommend going there by bus from Shinjuku bus terminal (in front of Shinjuku station). It takes about 2 and half hours and costs around JPY 2,000. Several cafes can be found around the lake and you can enjoy the peaceful and beautiful scenery while enjoying a cup of coffee or a piece of cake. You can also enjoy the view of mount Fuji from certain part of this lake. However, it is not on the side you can see mount Fuji, it is still enjoyable. One day trip is enough if you only want to enjoy the lake, but seems too short if you want to enjoy Yamanashi prefecture.See more..
4.0Tojimbo Cliff(865 reviews) - breezy cliff Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Bodies of Water • Reefs • Geologic Formations
my visit was in winter (january 2016 ) ..this spot has been in my list .. since I read an article telling that this cliff is a famous suicide spot for the Japanese ..and somehow it pumped up my curiousity .. :p .. it turn out to be a beautiful cliff scenery .. the wind was so strong when I was on the cliff .. I m so worried I could be swept away to the sea by the strong wind heehee.. the and old uncle in uniform ( I believe he is the Cliff LifeGuard ) asked all the visitors not to get too closed to the edge of cliff due to strong wind. I was there until the sun set down and all resto on the way to cliff was closed and I had to get hurry to be able to catch the last bus to MikuniMinato station .. its took 2 hrs train from Osaka to arrive Mikuni minato ..then continue with local bus to the cliff .. oya and there's a dinosour museum in Fukui ..too bad I dont have enough time to check on the museum ..See more..

Jogasaki Coast is on the eastern coast of Izu Peninsula & by the Pacific Ocean. There is a 9km walking trail that is very scenic. Many areas along the trail to stop for taking gorgeous photos. Kadowaki Lighthouse has a free observation deck with nice views of the ocean. A 50 meter high suspension bridge, Kadowaki Cape Suspension Bridge, takes you to some of the jagged cliffs. Definitely a terrific outdoor walking experience. Ample parking with a fee. Small souvenir shop, ice cream stand & convenient bathrooms by the lighthouse.See more..

4.0Amaharashi Coast(208 reviews) - Great train rides - coastal wonder Bodies of Water • Beaches
Absolutely impressive coast line between Takaoka and Himi. Can be observed from the train or explored on foot by alighting at one of the stations. The journey by train does not last so long adjacent to the sea, but it’s certainly worth a ride. Remember the windows of the train carriage open upwards completely if you want to take photos. Makes for a nice half day excursion. Himi at the end of the train ride is generally uninteresting.See more..
