We were in Kofu for 3 days, so on our 2nd day, we decided to explore the attractions close by. The no. 1 attraction recommended is this place. We caught a bus from Kofu station and it took us about 50 mins. to reach the top of the hill. We walked about a 4 km paved path going downhill. It was a nice autumn morning, the leaves were starting to change in different colours, the gentle breeze carrying fallen maple leaves. We passed towering stone cliffs, rivers, bridges and waterfalls. It was a very relaxed scenic trail. Hardly any foreigners, mostly local tourists enjoying the natural beauty. The pictures don't do it any justice. A must see when you are in Kofu area.See more..
