The museum is just simple amazing the explained from the Big Bang, formation of earth until the first humans. The display is very interesting in many languages they even have a cinema . Price per entrance is 60 kunas The toilets are very clean you even have a place to leave your luggage or big items. I was very impress, if you take a walk around the grounds please wear some confortable shoes some place outdoors could be a bit stiff The car park is not big but very useful is free. See more..

We went here for a family dinner and we're delighted with the service provided it was very professional and friendly. The food was excellent however it did take a while to arrive after we ordered but apart from this the meal was fantastic! I will definitely visit here again next time I'm in Sisak. We walked 600 m south from our Hotel Florian & Godler arriving before 9 AM. After paying 10 kn for 2 seniors, we were escorted upstairs. Our self tour encircled the 2nd floor rooms; local costumes & pottery works, 19th C weapons, a complete period room, construction of the 16th C Vauban type 6-star fortress, Pre-Roman excavation finds back to 2300 BC. The attic detailed bridge works from the 16th to its 1881 dismantling and a lower room showed an archeological excavation in process. This is a good museum for local culture and appreciation of constructing this large fortress (measuring 400 m x 600 m with its moated outer wall extending another 150 m) in a river junction wetland. It's relatively new place to visit. It's based on two children books written by Mato Lovrak, who is well-known Croatian writer for children and teens. He served as teacher in local scholl. Place is especially interesting for children. There is lovely forest nearby, beautiful fishpond and swimming centre.See more..

Speciality Museums • History Museums I spent some two hours at this newly opened museum and I plan a return trip as I'm not quite done seeing all the different exhibits! It's situated in a refurbished 19th-century warehouse which was built in the style of dutch houses. In fact the name Holandska Kuca directly translated into English means Dutch House. The museum aims to portray Sisak's industrial past which goes back some two hundred or so years. The basement and ground floor cover this part of the town's history with a video installation, artefacts and wall displays. Currently, there is also a photography exhibition which portrays artistic images (!) from oil/gas manufacture. On levels 1 and 2 there are other exhibitions. I only had time for one and chose to see an interesting collection of gramophones which was brought to life by a very animated tour guide and curator! Overall the building is state of the art and the collection is an interesting insight into industrial history. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The museum is on one of Sisak's nicest, historical streets and opposite a riverside walking route lined with some nice cafes.See more..
The tour in the mine is quit a new attraction in the area of samobor. The trip is nice and interesting. The guide was an enthusiastic woman who speaks Croatian, English and German. She gave us a lot of details and nice anecdotes about the history of the mine and rude. Recommended to anyone’s who spend more than a day In samobor area! See more..
