    Whenever I visit Karlovac, if the weather is nice, I like to take a stroll along Korana river banks which leads me to the Wooden bridge. It offers interesting photo oportunities, especially when the water surface mirrors the wooden structure of the bridge. No motor vehicle traffic is allowed across the bridge so you can enjoy peace and quiet not too far from the centre. However, expect to meet joggers and cyclists. And if you are interested in jogging you can also turn left just before you reach the bridge and follow the path further away from the town centre, along Korana embankment. The bridge was built in the 1930s. See more..

    It is one of the few bridges in the city. It goes across river Kupa and cars can go just one way on ut. People and bycicles can go both ways. It has 7 arches and it is one of the main attractions in Sisak. Good position for taking photos. See more..
