Very high quality museum
The museum is just simple amazing the explained from the Big Bang, formation of earth until the first humans. The display is very interesting in many languages they even have a cinema . Price per entrance is 60 kunas The toilets are very clean you even have a place to leave your luggage or big items. I was very impress, if you take a walk around the grounds please wear some confortable shoes some place outdoors could be a bit stiff The car park is not big but very useful is free.

worth a visit
If you are in the area visit this museum, but not on Monday bc its closed. First make sure to watch introductory film and then take a tour. Its a walk through history from its beginning. It can be very interesting for children also-there is simulation of walking on ice and then you hear and see cracking:), on human exhibit you can touch his body parts and then it shows which illnesses they suffer and other fun stuff.

Learning and Fun
Fairly new Neanderthal Museum in Krapina was great surprise for me. The tour starts with 15 min movie on how Neanderthals lived, followed by the story how they were discovered, ending with the interactive tour from the Big Bang till today. Not that we just had great fun we learned a lot!
