4.5Parc Josaphat(201 reviews) - Underrated gem! Parks
Officially one of my favourite places in Brussels – and part of me doesn't want to tell anyone about it; I want it all to myself! ;) I've visited Parc Josaphat in summer, autumn, winter and spring, and it's truly a magical gem that both young and old will enjoy – come rain or shine. If you're looking for a peaceful place to stroll, or you'd like a spot to read a book on your back, Parc Josaphat really is the place to go. Tip: It's easily accessible via public transport. Bus 65 and 66, as well as tram 7 all run along it.See more..
The remains of a monastery, together with the woods and ponds make for a lovely park. I’ve visited it twice, once in spring and again in August. You can make some nice walks along the ponds, and if you want to, continue to the Soignes Forest. The park is well maintained, the old buildings have been restored over the years and got a new destination, like an exhibition space, art shops and a tavern (I’m not 100% sure, but I think only open in the weekend). There is also a play area for the kids where a pirate ship is the big attraction. Draft horses, a donkey, chicken and ducks can also be seen. As the park is located at the outskirts of Brussels, you can get there easily by public transport. Metro line 5 and tram 94 stop at Herrmann-Debroux, about 200 meters from the entrance to the park. Several busses also stop in the neighbourhood.See more..

4.0Parc Georges Henri(30 reviews) - Our kid’s favourite in the area Spent < 1 hour Parks
In sunny weeks we go even twice a week there as kid’s like it. It is also good for class events. For kids lot of fun playing in sand attractions, football, sports equipment. At the end milkshake or icecream. Pretty often they see their classmates and friends. Kind of kid’s community centre!See more..
4.5King Baudouin Park(28 reviews) - Large, kids friendly park Spent 2-3 hours Parks
We've been many times to King Baudouin Park. It is a relatively large area with wide pavements, so bikers etc can easily co-exist with the pedestrians. On top of that, on one end there is recently-renovated playground. I would encourage devoting some time and taking a walk towards the Laerbeek forest (great area) or - if you have less time - to the Dielghem forest.See more..
4.5Parc Tournay Solvay(20 reviews) - A walk in the park Spent 1-2 hours Parks
It is a humongous park. The one you want to go if you like a stroll in nature but don't have the time to go to the forest. It is a familial place. The place is very well kept.See more..
5.0Parc de Wolvendael(14 reviews) - Excellent area for a walk Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds

3.5Parc de Roodebeek(11 reviews) - Pleasant spot Spent 1-2 hours Parks
Parc de Roodebeek is basically a mini zoo with a playground. The zoo is composed of some birds, rabbits, fish, a tired looking pony, a goat and a donkey. Can't say I was too impressed with the larger animals. The playground is well fitted however, looks new. Kings size chess board invites to have a game on the spot. All in all a good visit.See more..
4.5Paul Moens Medicinal Plant Garden(3 reviews) - Wonderfull breath of fresh air in the middle of the city Spent < 1 hour Parks • Gardens

See more..
See more..
