    The Wychwood Brewery image
My daughter knows Hobgoblin is my favourite beer so she booked me a tour for my 60th birthday. We were made very welcome by the tour guide Andy who was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was pleased the brewery is fairly small which surprised me considering how much beer they sell, I really recommend you visit even if your not a beer drinker like my wife who thought it was a very enjoyable experience. At only £12 I find it really good value as you start with a half pint and after the tour you sample many of the beers and another half pint to finish on, plus a free glass to. Will visit again in the future. See more..

    Oxford Castle & Prison image
We were a party of 7 who had just done 2 and half hours of driving on our route home, we came into Oxford for lunch and how could we resist a Castle and Prison, we had the tour guide Oliver who was dressed the part and who’s knowledge seemed to have no bounds. The tour was informative and captivating even younger children learned without becoming idle. Where to start with St George’s tower the oldest non-religious building in all of Oxford, the view is nothing short of spectacular and again the truly limitless font of Oliver was more than prepared for the questions thrown at him, 101 steps he committed to memory and for people less comfortable with the physical feat of the staircase, a video was provided, which I’m reliably informed kept their attention the some 15 minutes we were in the tower. I’d happily go again and it was definitely worth the 15 pounds for a guided tour! A stunning building, now on to the Motte. See more..
