May might be the best season to visit Isabella plantation. Make sure you find the Still Pond, where all of the azaleas surrounding the pond just magical. It is always tricky to get there. Phone signal/ map just barely works. I keep on getting lost here. Fortunately the plantation is so beautiful that I don’t mind to go around in circles. Wembley Stadium image
We attended night one of Harry Styles Love on Tour on 18th June 2022. We had rear standing tickets and therefore got there very early to queue. Along with the other fans we all numbered ourselves to ensure that the queue was fair on the way in. Wanted to leave a review to say a huge thank you to Gemma on queue support in the blue zone! She (especially) and other staff ensured that we got to the turnstiles in the order of arrival so us there before 9 (8:30) got in first. Gemma did this in such a respectful and orderly way, always helping when the queue became slightly stressed that others were pushing in front. Inside the staff should have had more control over the rear queue as the pushing was out of control but outside the staff was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Gemma especially! See more..

What a fantastic find this was and well worth the hours drive. I’d recommend booking your tickets in advance because it’s busy and you could end up disappointed. Tickets are cheap and the cafe was reasonably priced, and although not a large selection of food it was nice. The tour guide was brilliant, funny and knowledgeable. Made it interesting. The caves were brilliant, absolutely amazing and really enjoyed it. The tour was about 50 minutes in total. No photos allowed. The lamps were a nice touch. Shame can’t see more of the caves but will definitely go again. See more..

Families enjoy feeding the swans and ducks and it’s a great place for walking the dog. There is also a children’s playground with a variety of equipment. The coffee shop has very friendly staff. They also sell ice-cream and basic food. There are lots of benches situated all over the park to sit and have a chat or a rest. The squirrels are exceptionally friendly and rather fun to watch. - Best Park in the area to spend some quality time with Nature
    Parks
    Danson Park image
Danson park is by far my number 1 choice when it comes to outdoor activities in Bexleyheath. It is very spacious and well laid out with all the facilities one may need. One can also use Danson House for private functions. There are boating facilities as well but these weren't available due to covid. There is on site parking as well incase you wish to drive to the park. The ponds and streams are a great attraction and are home to many birds and ducks. There is a cafe that is serving food and one must try it, their bagels and hot chocolate are too good! One must visit the park and see just how peaceful and relaxing it is! See more..

At either end, there are monuments: near the car park, an obelisk/pyramid commemorates Henry Grey, Duke of Kent who died on 5th June 1740 ; at the other end is a column dedicated "To the memory of Jemima Crewe Dutchess [sic] of Kent". There is so much space that you could walk through the woods and hardly see anyone else. Definitely a place for walkers of all abilities. See more..
