After not riding for a few months myself and two of my friends booked to ride here for the first time after seeing it on social media and reading great reviews. Easy to find, great family atmosphere, minimal road work and amazing horses, all of the staff are friendly and check on everyone when out riding the horses, baloo, April and Heidi were perfect and we enjoyed riding them very much, highly recommend coming here we as experienced riders had lots of canters and a cheeky little gallop, the scenery was beautiful and it's a ride we will not forget. Had a tandem skydive today and can’t fault it at all. All staff were friendly, the receptionist was friendly on arrival and told us where we could sit and where the toilets, food and drink facilities were etc. Had the safety briefing by a man who was also really nice and clearly explained instructions to us and made sure we understood. Was introduced to my instructor Ben who was also really nice and made sure I was safely in the harness etc. Really friendly man who kept checking to make sure I was ok. He made sure I understood what I needed to do properly and had a good chat with me too, we had a laugh! Highly recommend this experience. There were 9 of us all together and Clare who took the class was a lovely lady who had a wealth of knowledge about the history of Melton Mowbray, the pies and food in general. She gave a small talk about the background of Melton and pork pies and then demonstrated how to make the pork pies in stages. We each made a pork pie which was fascinating to see how it’s done! You can also buy some of their pies to take home at very good prices so I recommend you take a big cool bag! Tips- Take a bottle of water- I found after 2 hours I was quite thirsty! It’s not the easiest place to find, especially if you were visiting in winter & it was dark. There are big signs everywhere for the garden centre though- The Grange. Just follow those. You go down a long road past some bungalows and at the end is the garden centre. The building for Brocklebys is at the bottom of the car park. Great evening. See more..

Hired a Mercedes E class with chauffeur from Aura for my daughters wedding and was very impressed. Limo arrived in plenty time and chauffeur waited patiently for brides departure before and after wedding service. Both the limo and chauffeur were immaculate. Chauffuer smartly dressed and limo nicely decorated with white ribbons and bows. I had asked if I could connect my phone to play a particular song during the journey but Aura had it downloaded into car system in preparation which was a nice touch. My wife booked the Ultimate Warbirds Spitfire experience for me as a birthday present. After longing for many years to fly in a spitfire, we were at a firework competition coming out of the second Covid Lockdown and the Grace Spitfire was booked to fill a vacant slot that should have been occupied by one of the displays. The narrator told the ‘Grace Spitfire Story’ that was captivating to say the least, unbeknown to me my wife was equally captivated and took the plunge. All things about experience were conducted to an exceptionally high level by a really knowledgeable, thoughtful, eager-to-please and dedicated team who made everything run smoothly. I had to be rescheduled once, as being late in the season, the weather is less predictable than in the summer and we fell foul of it; they couldn’t have been more apologetic, equally keen to reorganise and always with a smile. You are the centre of attention on the day, the briefings are conducted very well and once in the air the experience is amazing. I was flown through a phenomenal sequence of aerobatic manoeuvres by Mark, my pilot on the day who just inspired and instilled confidence and I was encouraged to make the controls a fair bit too, and not just for the straight and level stuff! Within reason you can do what you (and your pilot) is happy for you to do safely, alternatively they are more than happy to do all of the flying. You are talked through every step of the way both on the ground and in the air and your face will ache from the smiling when you’ve finished. I bought this experience for my Grandchildren as an Easter present and what a fab time we had. I was a little apprehensive as this was our first family day out after lockdown, but it was easy to maintain social distancing and there were ample sanitising stations, and spotlessly clean onsite toilet facilities. First we tried archery (loved this) and Sam our instructor, talked us through the basics, and gave clear advice. The equipment was cleaned prior to us using it and in excellent condition. Then to the tree tops, initial safety (and confidence) chat, again by Sam and we were off. The course starts easy and gets progressively harder and higher, but there are options along the way to take an “easy” or difficult route, and Sam was always close by to offer help and advice. As you would imagine this is quite physical, and yes I do ache a little today! We all had a great time at Wild Pines Park and I would definitely recommend Our group age ranged from 6 - 60 years See more..

We visited in late July 2020 (2 adults, 3 teenage kids) Highly recommend this experience, we all had a great time. All expected safety measures are in place, Robin is a lovely chap, taking his time to explain everything clearly and in a friendly manor. We did the 8.5 mile paddle which is all downstream with no portages, you can take your time and there's plenty of places to pull up for a little picnic. Little tip, if you are coming from the direction of Willington the Sat-Nav might direct you to turn right down Ferry Lane. Ignore it and stay on A1532, you'll see the flags etc a few hundred yards further on the right. See more..

We would like to echo all the other positive reviews about the narrow boats from Grand Union Narrowboats in Weedon. Having owned and cruised on our own narrow boat for five years, we wondered whether renting a boat would measure up, but it did! We couldn't fault Londonweed, or Steve and his fantastic and helpful team. We loved the interior layout of the boat, the kitchen and bathroom set-ups, and particularly all the good storage areas throughout the boat. There were extra thoughtful touches, including flowers and a bottle of wine, as well as games to play on board. We would highly recommend Grand Union Narrowboats to anyone wanting to cruise on the English canals, and hope to be able to use them again ourselves. See more..

Saturday morning tour was absolutely brilliant. The two guides were professional, personable and full of interesting information and anecdotes. One of us was a mobility scooter user and the care both guides took to ensure his comfort and safety was superb. Originally, we didn’t think he would last more than half an hour but he enjoyed the tour so much he was determined to finish it despite the cobbles, steep hills and rain! We would never have seen half the places they showed us nor learnt as much about the city without doing this tour on the Saturday morning.
