   The tour and the team (Miki and Andy) are absolutely fantastic! We went for the tour in September, so the weather got bad (high waves) when we reached the caves. M&A still showed us the approachable/safe cave under these circumstances and waited for the waves to get calmer. As if it didn`t, they ensured everyone got on the coast safely. In the end, they wanted to give us all the money back, but we insisted on getting only a partial reimbursement since they were so friendly and still gave us half of the tour. We would gladly come back and join the tour again. P. S. Bring proper water shoes and not flip-flops - the cave is dangerously sharp. The rest of the safety equipment (waterproof phone case and bag, diving mask and protective helmet) is included. P. P. S. You`ll also get awesome photos made by Miki! Overall - GO FOR IT.     Memorial Center Lipa remembers was opened in Lipa on April 2015 on the site of the former Memorial Museum operating from 1968 to 1989. With the restoration of the museum, memory is also being restored. Memory of heavy historical heritage of 30th of April 1944 when Lipa, in just a few hours, lost 269 of its residents, mostly elderly, women and children. The crime was committed by the Nazis and Fascists within the "Braunschweig" offensive- territory cleansing operation against partisan "bandits". Killing civilians was followed by the theft of their property, and burning all of their houses and farmhouses. The end of World War II brings Lipa to its knees as surviving inhabitants have no homes to return to. At this point a long and painstaking restoration began, and the continuation of life marked by a sense of loss. Today Lipa lives and remembers. The permanent exhibition of the Memorial Center Lipa remembers interprets the history of World War II in the microregion of Liburnian Karst that, in addition to Lipa, comprises of Pasjak, Rupa, Šapjane and Brdce. Memorial Heritage of World War II is complemented by the overview of the continuity of life in this region, from prehistoric times to the present, with a special emphasis on the cultural, ethnographic and historical heritage, dating before and after the tragic event. In holistic approach to this regions heritage, the tragic event of 30th of April 1944 can be seen in a broader context, as only one of many identity features belonging to vital and potent community of Lipa.     this was such a great place. such nice and friendly people there. rope course and zipline were great!!! the rope course was so much fun, our 7 children aged 6-16 each did it. they loved it, and eddie was THE BEST. such patience and caring for each child. it was something very special to see. we found out after that Eddie is a member of the Croatian Olympic cross country ski team.     Mit dem Auto von Mali Losinj erreicht man am südlichen Ende die An- Ablegestelle für das Bootstaxi nach Ilovik. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden. Wir hatten Glück da gerade ein Boot da war mit 3 anderen Passagieren, so mussten wir nur 60 Kuna für die kurze Überfahrt zahlen. Nach unserer Besichtigungtour haben wir einfach die genannte Telefonnummer angerufen und nach ca. 15 Minuten war das Taxi schon da.
    Wir hatten das Boot für uns, das kostete dann 100 Kuna. Es war einfach, toll und unkompliziert. SIcher die beste und günstigste Gelegenheit die Insel Ilovik zu besuchen. So hat man genug Zeit sich die ganze Insel anzuschauen. See more..

    We started from Platak, some 1h, 45 min of walking. You have two options : over "Greben" or through "Grotlo". We went climbing over Greben, and downhill through Grotlo.. From the top.is nice view of Kvarner bay from other side, and mountai peeks of Gorski.kotar from other side.. Also have some nice places for photos...     Lake Lepenica is the largest among the three lakes in the Fužine area. That were built for the hydroelectric purposes. The greatest depth of the lake is around twenty meters and it is very pleasant in summer for swimming, because the water temperature is usually over 23 degrees. The lake is very rich with fish and it is a beloved spot for anglers. It is also a well known venue for competitions in underwater orienteering. Regretfully, today there are only remains of walls as mute witnesses of the past. Although they do not say much, they must remember a lot. The ruins of the town of Lopar were well preserved until the beginning of the Second World War.
