    We stopped for a short visit here. Moscenice is the old, original town on the hill. It was too dangerous to live near the water. Moscenicka Draga (draga=bay) is the newer town on the water. The museum shows how people lived a couple hundred years ago. The highlight is the olive oil press located a few yards away. Stairs and uneven cobblestones. See more..

    The massive Zrinski fortress, houses the museum of forestry, hunting and fishing. The old building built by the border is interesting by itself, having residential and wartime attributes. The museum presentation is very well done and modern. It offers a good balance of interactive content, cultural history and entertaining details. It is an educative place where you can relive a part of Gorski kotar history and tradition. Generally it is very nice museum and definitely must see attraction for those who are visiting the area of Gorski kotar. As the museum is very new in this area, there are also some imperfections in multilingual functions, lack of guidance and basic general (welcoming) explanations. See more..
