    Small great museum
This is a small and great museum, my kids loved it, they learned some new and it was not to big for them. Super!

Not a good use of time
First, this museum is difficult to find as it is set up against a hillside of winding streets. Took a little bit of back/forth traversing and asking locals for help. This was a very disappointing visit as I am a biology teacher and was looking for some 'very cool' exhibits. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the exhibits were ....shabby...if that is the right word. The stuffed animals were in desperate need of cleaning and preening. The whole place had a feeling of being dated in the 1970's. The very first exhibits had six species of sharks hanging almost in a mobile fashion, but they looked as if they were made of paper mache and needed 'sprucing up', as it were. I am sure the people who run the museum have the right intent, but maybe not the money. The entrance fee was only $1.40 (US), so this might be part of the issue. I do not like to say this, but skipping this site would not be helpful to the museum, but your time would be better spent visiting some other place.
