  1. 4.0 James Bond Island (3.765 reviews)
    - James Bond Island by speedboat
    Thursday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Islands
    James Bond Island image
Visited as part of an organised boat tour. You can't come to this part of the world and not see this site. Amazed at the number of influencers hauling gear on to the island to try and get the perfect (artificially staged!) shot. We were greeted by persistent market sellers selling typical tourist junk at highly elevated prices. that you can buy on the mainland at a much cheaper price. Don't go there to shop, spend some time exploring the caves and look out points. There is really no chance to swim at this island. Be prepared to jump down from the front of the boat into the water at the shore as boats cant come in too close. See more..

My review is for the Island, the ocean, the beaches - Everything was just perfect!! Even though we weren’t super lucky with the weather, the place just look like heaven. As an environmentalist O was really happy to see and read about the efforts Thailand authorities are putting to keep this place preserved. This is a MUST GO! See more..

    - Beautiful beaches
    Islands
    Khai Island image
We had visited the beautiful Khai island along with Phi Phi islands as part of full day sightseeing tour by speed boat from Phuket. This place has crystal clear torquoise blue waters where tourists were enjoying swimming, bathing, snorkeling, sunbathing on the beach. Also this place has water sports activities like jet ski, banana boat etc. There are many small eating joints where one can relax by the sea with food. We had a good time in this island. See more..

We went there with Similan Sea Safari during our three-day liveaboard trip. The place was amazing. It’s full of rocks covered in beautiful corals. Currents are a bit strong for me but other divers seem to have managed well. Highly recommended if you are a diver! See more..
  6. 4.5 Koh Kho Khao Island (184 reviews)
    - Great island to explore

    Koh Kho Khao Island image
This is a great island to explore, get the ferry across with your scooter and just ride. The ferry is an experience, good, and terrific value. The two of us went across and I asked how much, 60 baht we were told. 120 baht for the two of us I thought was exceptional value. However, when I give him 120 baht he gave me a strange look, and gave us 60 baht back!! See more..
  7. 4.0 Ko Panyi (158 reviews)
    - An amazing experience

Totally worth it. We went as family off season, as part of the James Bond island tour. It’s a very interesting place, from architecture to the super nice people. You can stroll through the alleys, look inside the school or daycare, get a glimpse into the daily life of living ashore. The lunch we got there and was included in the tour price was worth more than the whole trip! Fresh fish, octopus, chicken, soups, way too much for 4 people to handle. Then stroll some more through the alleys with handmade pearl jewelry, haggle a bit and get it for half the initial price and you get some good deals. I think what touched me most was being in this Muslim community, where everyone knows everyone and meeting a queer person, with own shop there, as part of this community. Many closed communities of christians in Europe could learn a lot about hanging in together ,sharing and caring for everyone. See more..
  8. 3.5 Khai Nok Island (114 reviews)
    - Only For The View
    Islands
    Khai Nok Island image
There are two areas on this island - one is a small beach, near the drinks stall and beach chairs, which is lovely IF it was 20 years ago. The corals now here are not in a good state at all, presumably from mass tourism it receives. BUT, on the other side of the island, is white stretch of powdery sand that promises crystal clear waters and fishes to look at. Good for a swim too! And undoubtedly, the view is amazing to look at. If you're looking to snorkel here, I believe there are much prettier islands or beaches in Phuket to do so. See more..
  9. 4.5 Koh Nok Island (93 reviews)

Spend 6 nights on Koh Yao Noi, loved the island. Beaches very nice but not many beach beds available as most resorts were off the beach. Lovely for touring round on mopeds which are freely available. Food is amazing on this island definitely try Kaya. A must to do is Minas cooking class. See more..
  10. 4.5 Ko Yao Yai (83 reviews)
    - Real Thai Island Joy
    Islands
    Ko Yao Yai image
Wow. Have been heading off to quiet bits of Phuket for years and am generally a fan of islands. The quiet bits of Phuket are getting very hard to find so we opted for a few days on Ko Yao Yai and what an utter joy to find real rural tranquility and wonderful road side eateries. Be warned, beer can be hard to find but great food, simplicity and tranquility are in abundance. Oh and we took two separate high speed boat transfers between Ban Rong and the island. Both high speed. Both 300 Baht per person but one without a life jacket in sight. Will post some more reviews when I get home to my island! Bye for now. See more..

    - Beautiful canoeing experience
    Spent 2-3 hours Islands
    Ko Pa Nak image
The views are one of the most amazing I've ever seen. You have to lie flat on the canoe to avoid injury. Unfortunately, my foot got scratched getting into one of the caves, lying flat! It wasn't a big scratch but still have the scar. I got first aid help as soon as we got to the big boat. It is worth it, just watch out for those spikes! See more..
  13. 4.0 Lawa Island (37 reviews)

  14. 4.5 Koh Ku Du Yai Island (34 reviews)
    - Beautiful, deserted island!
    Islands
Koh Ku Du Yai Island image
I hired a fishing boat for a day to go to the small islands north of Koh Yao. Koh Kudu was one of them. It is a small, amazing island! The entrance is blocked by two big, and one baby limestone rocks. The rocks form a little green lagoon in front of the island. I had the place to myself for a heavenly (Thai) picnic lunch on the beach. It was absolutely peaceful, with the sounds of the jungle behind and the waves lashing up to the rocks in front. The sand is so soft and white, your feet just sink in while walking. There are pretty trees, that make every view picturesque! And the packed lunch and my guide/boatman were great too! See more..

  16. 4.5 Koh Mak Noi (2 reviews)
    - No tourist !
    Islands
Hidden away is this island with a population of around 2.000 people. Mostly rubber plantages and som fisherman familys and nice beaches/water, where you can be alone in many places. Normally I don´t tip places like this, beacuse I want them unspoiled from tourist, but now I probably don´t go there anymore, so I leave this little pearl in your hand for you to discover :-) See more..
