Absolutely recommended to visit this place as well as the Tsunami Museum close by, that is of course if you're interested in what happened on Dec26/2004. The time of our visit, the grounds were well maintained. There is a seafood restaurant on-site, but it was closed at the time of our visit (weekday around10am) and locals told us they only open in weekends.See more..
5.0Samet Nangshe Viewpoint(145 reviews) - Not to be missed Amazing stunning View of Phang Nga Bay from the mainland Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lookouts • Scenic Walking Areas
This lookout needs to be on your list of things to do. You can hire a driver to take you or drive yourself it easy to find. The view over Phang Nga Bay is spectacular. There's a lovely little restaurant at the top for refreshments. When you arrive you park at the bottom , you can either walk up but o wouldn't recommend its very steep and a long road up, or you just pay a small amount (40b I think) for a return trip in the vehicle See more..
4.5Wat Tham Ta Pan Temple(56 reviews) - Buddhist Heaven & Hell! Points of Interest & Landmarks
In our way from Ao nang to Phang Nga we found "Wat Tham Ta Pan" monastery. Wat Tham Ta Pan is one of the most weird temples in Thailand. It's Located in Phang Nga (100 km from Phuket). It is a kind of Buddhist heaven and hell temple which showing what happens to bad and good people with many colorful statues. At the entrance you’ll see a fountain with five monks with bowl statues. The temple has a vast yard with many Buddhist elements and statues and buildings and an interesting spot for photography. There are peaceful scenes designed to represent heaven, and the sin park is a small sculpture garden full of figures from Buddhist hell (Naraka). The most stunning thing in this temple is a steep staircase which leads to a small roofed temple with panoramic viewpoint at top. The scenery is really breathtaking and all surrounding area is visible. This monastery is worthy of visiting.See more..
Great place for a trip out, super easy to get to if you have a scooter. Sunset is great here. There is no beach, so you wouldn’t stay long, but you can come and see the fishing boats. There is a restaurant/bar here, so you can grab a drink.See more..
Although the grounds were open, the buildings didn't seem to be open to go in while I was there. The outsides, however, were stunning. So beautifully and intricately decorated! I enjoyed wandering round for a while admiring the outside of the buildings and stupas and the giant statue.See more..

Khao Phing Kan Island consists of two twin islands in the east and west, which are connected by a sandy beach; James Bond Island is located in the northern part of the country and has been known as James Bond since the filming of James Bond. The island has several caves; Usually, the entrance to the island is from the south side of the beach and next to the handicraft stalls, and you will have a place to walk and exactly the size of a semicircle with an approximate length of 300 meters. Go up the stairs to the left (west) and after coming down, you will see a sandy beach in front of you, which is the harbor of fast boats. Due to the short stop in James Bond (20 minutes), we quickly made our way back. The combination of rock and tree and beach and emerald sea water was very beautiful, amazing and unique.See more..
5.0Sam Cave (Tham Sam Rock Art)(1 review) - 멋진 레이크와 산풍경, 동굴안이 고대벽화가 있는 Spent < 1 hour Ancient Ruins • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Historic Walking Areas
See more..
