Had a great experience with Elixir Divers. Went diving with them rather spontaneously on six dives (3 days). The team including the dive masters (Tomas, Kamila, Martina) and the boat crew were super professional. The made sure everybody was save and had a good time. As this is the only dive shop on the island, prices are on the higher end; nevertheless, the dive spots make up for it with the abundance of fish. The team also does a full service job, switching tanks and preparing your equipment (personally I am not a fan of that, but I know some people expect it and it adds a layer of safety for less experienced divers). Furthermore, they helped the girlfriend and me by organizing an island hopping trip on very short notice (night before). The trip was great and very well organized. Captain Bao (not sure if spelled that way) was just pure awesomeness.See more..

We recently did a 3 night and 4 day Surin Islands tour with Greenview. From start to finish the experience was amazing. The organisation and communication was excellent. We were taken to some incredible locations with wonderful guides. Greenview were very helpful and accommodating and we can't thank them enough for the most enjoyable 4 days! I went on the "Best of Khao Sok" tour and have only good things to tell. From the punctual pick up to the very friendly, knowledgeable and multi-lingual (Thai, as you would expect, English and German) guide, the whole day was very well organized and great fun. In a small group of only seven, we were transferred by minibus to the Khao Sok National Park. On the way and throughout the day our guide Peera gave plenty of information about the national park, nature, wildlife, etc. We were paddled down a river in comfortable kayaks for about an hour. This was my favorite part, so tranquil, scenic and relaxing! After a short transfer, we then boarded a long tail boat which drove us around the Khao Sok lake, which is truly beautiful, plenty of photo opportunities! After lunch on a floating restaurant, we had some time to swim in a secluded and quiet bay before heading back to land. With a quick stop at a look out we made our way back to Khoa Lak. I had a really great day and would suggest this trip to everyone, solo traveler, couple or family.See more..

Our day trip with Zaidy Travel far exceeded our expectations. Communication via WhatsApp prior to the tour was quick and easy. Pick-up from our hotel, lunch and refreshments, and all entrance fees were included. Our guide, Kai, was extremely kind and knowledgeable - not only was he our long-tail boat captain, but also our private photographer! The tour included several islands where we could snorkel, swim, relax, and explore, as well as a visit to a local lobster farm. Everything was catered to our pace; because it was a private tour, there was flexiblity in the itinerary. And, the cost was less than 1/5th that offered at our hotel. I went for a dive with this company. It was actually quite cheap, only 3000thb including all equipment, the equipment was ok, looked worn but was in good working order. There where only Thai nationals working on the dive-Day. Or maybe there are only Thai employies. Their english is not great, and neither is mine. But it worked out fine. It took a hour and a half to get to the dive site. The longtail was quite noicy during the trip. They said that they sometimes see big sting rays. But not this Day. The enviroment in that area is amazing. All in all a good dive with a good dive-company. See more..

We dived as a family of four to Yawasam island. We took a longboat from the dock and the trip took near enough an hour to get to the dive site. We dived twice in the AM and both dives were really fun and colourful. All of us really liked the dive instructor Fai. She was exactly the right mix of professional and fun and nothing was too much trouble for her or her team. The dive equipment was all good and recently serviced and she gave a thorough and accurate briefing pre dive. It was refreshing to see a dive school run by someone like Fai. She was great with all her guests but was clearly an expert diver and careful businesswoman. We will definitely dive again with the team here. Highly recommended.See more..

The company was very responsive and accommodating. I like how we could easily reach them on WhatsApp (I asked them a bunch of questions prior to our trip). We used their airport transfer service (shuttle + boat) to get to Koh Yao Yai. Once we got to the island, we booked a long tail boat tour with them to visit phang nga. The driver and boat driver were really funny and awesome. They spoke English well and were some of the friendliest people we've met. Will definitely book with them next time we go to koh yao yai. We previously have done our open water in koh Tao, myself and the girlfriend came to barracuda on phi phi to do a fun dive. Excellent staff, very friendly ! Lunch was included and was tasty food between our dives! Taken care of more than other places for eg.. Girlfriend was given prescription dive mask which made such a difference for her visibility and wet suits and boots for the fins (all of which we weren't given in koh Tao! ) boat was a big boat because some of the dive centres use Thai long tails in phi phi and they do not have bathrooms etc.. First trip booked through hotel and we got a young guide named Chai. He was very patient and understanding with our young girls and went out of his way to make the kayaking and trip interesting for the kids. adjusted the day to suit us, including a stop at a friends house for the kids to use the toilet. We felt very lucky to experience a real local Thai home. Second trip I booked directly through Chai while Kayaking. Did Island hopping. Was great as there were no time limits for any of the stops and once the kids were exhausted we just headed back. Easy to communicate with Chai and he even sent us some photos on whats ap the next day.See more..
My son (11 years old) and I dived with Tiger and Sahad and it was perfect. We both have PADI open water. They were very attentive with my son and very professional and nice. We could see that they knew how to navigate underwater really well even if the visibility was very poor. Don't be put off by the appearance of the shop (still under construction at the time). The equipment was in good shape and they were really friendly. We did 3 local dives in the Phang Nga Bay. It was very nice but the visibility was poor (good underwater navigation exercise). We also went to Shark Point and the visibility was great. These areas were very nice to dive down to 12 meters (maximum depth for the PADI Open Water Junior). Lots to see. Nous avons contacté Jack Similan Travel par téléphone avant notre voyage en Thaïlande pour réserver un tour de snorkeling de 2 jours aux Îles Similan avec hébergement sur l'île. Le taxi entre notre hôtel et le point de départ du tour était compris dans le prix.
Lors de notre voyage, le taxi qui est venu nous chercher nous a déposés chez Check-in Andaman, un autre prestataire, et non chez Jack Similan Travel. En discutant avec les personnes de Check-in Andaman, nous comprenons que Jack Similan Travel n'est en fait qu'une agence qui revend les tours d'autres prestataires de voyage. Or ce n'est pas du tout ce qui est indiqué sur le site web de Jack Similan Travel, et personne ne nous l'a indiqué lors de nos échanges téléphoniques et email !
En discutant avec les autres passagers, nous nous rendons compte que nous avons payé autour de 1500 bahts plus cher que ceux qui ont directement contacté Check-in Andaman, pour un service entièrement identique au final.
Le voyage avec Check-in Andaman était super et je laisserai un avis séparé pour eux. Cet avis concerne uniquement Jack Similan Travel et leur procédé que je trouve réellement malhonnête.See more..
