A must to visit island by speed boat (private boat is recommended) before 10pm or weekday to avoid the crowd. White soft sand, crystal clear water & stunning rock with the sailing rock on the top. 2 hours from Phuket/ Phangna so plan for a day trip here. You can spend time having lunch (bring your own), sun bathing, climbing to the top to get the view, walking along white sand beach or enjoying crystal clear water. Don’t try to come during long holidays so everything I describe gonna be much more difficult. See more..
Well worth making the effort getting to the beach. Entrance to the National Park is well signed with car parking immediately adjacent to the entrance. Dual pricing applies so 20 baht for Thais and 100 baht for foreigners irrespective of whether you live in Thailand! Very interesting walk through the forest to the beach. Wide variety of plants and trees and plenty of bird life. Reaching the beach has definitely got the Wow factor. Beautiful golden sands with some very interesting rock formations and virtually deserted when we were there. Impossible not to relax when sitting on the rocks listening to the waves lapping on the shore. Highly recommended.See more..

This is the most beautiful snorkeling spot if you visit Phuket or Khaolak. The reefs here are colorful and full of fish. If you are lucky enough then you might get to see the turtle :). The sea are like turqouise so clear and blue. You can stay overnight on this island but it will be a typical tent or guest house since its located in the military teritorry.See more..

A lovely park with well kept entrance, a cafeteria that serves tasty Thai food. There are walks for all kind of walkers. The waterfall is beautiful and rich even in the dry season. It is possible to swim. The river is full of fish. The trees are magnificent and all the vegetation is lush. We have spent an happy few hours. Highly recommend. I think it’s also possible to spend the night in a cottage or you can bring the tent and camp.See more..
The National Park is beautiful but as with all of them they practice the dual charging of foreigners. Just after the turning to the park there is a fantastic restaurant with green walls called Krua Pasoa ครัวป้าสาว . The lady who has been running it for years buys seafood from local fisherman so menu varies day by day. We have been coming for years and it is fantastic. Today we had an amazing soft shelled crab(s) fried in a delicious batter, sea snails, tom yum seafood and a squid stir fried in curry paste with sator beans. Fantastic cooking and great flavours. Cannot recommend highly enough. The Park I wouldn’t really bother with.See more..
