Just a lovely little museum with some beautiful eggs from all over the world and Letitia's amazing hand decorated eggs. A recorded guide is provided to explain the eggs on display. We listened in English and my husband also listened in French which provided more detail. We purchased several eggs to give as gifts and they made the journey to the U.S. intact!See more..
The initial collection belonged to the late Mr Popa and was focused on local art and local history. Many objects used by villagers but also archeological findings. Add to that the stone sculpture plus the modern pottery being created there. And the place itself is a museum of old buildings with old furniture collections. A Must seeSee more..

Once you arrive in Stupca you have 3 place to visit: Ciprian Porumbescu Memorial House, his grave and the Museum. You have a guide there, presenting the composer's life while you cand hear his music in the background. There are a lot of original pieces. The road from Suceava is ok, but the one from Gura Humorului, althout is by far more beatiful, it has some wholes and passes through a forest.See more..
4.5Palatul Memorial Alexandru Ioan Cuza(7 reviews) - Romanian history Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums • Historic Sites • Architectural Buildings
Cuza palace, in Ruginoasa, is relatively close to Iasi city and can make a good one-day trip. It has a small park around it. There is also an interesting church and the place where Al. I. Cuza was initially buried (now he rests in the Three Holy Hierarchs church of Iasi). The exterior of the building is quite nice. The interiors are well restored, full of beautiful objects and interesting artefacts related to Cuza, one of the most important figures of Romanian history. In the rooms there are displayed information in both Romanian and English. Unfortunately, taking pictures inside is forbidden.See more..
