We went for a 11k walk fro the visitor centre. Grassland, wets and forested. Some old style cattle and many waterbirds, centipieds and mushrooms. After the first 500m walk it becomes pretty quiet, even with the odd plane flying in the distance. Landscape different from the standard forest or heatherfields.
