Toverland confirms to be one of the most promising theme park in Europe, especially after the huge investments of 2018. The atmosphere is pure magic, the coaster lineup is solid (Troy and Fenix alone are worth the trip) and the side attractions, like Expedition Zork and Djengu River are very well themed and fun. Only one complaint, which is a constant in all my visits. They have this annoying habit to use one train in every coaster even with the park packed. Especially now, in coronavirus times, with trains not at full capacity they should seriously reconsider their policy. Honorable mention for the staff, always polite, nice and prepared. See more..

We came here expecting to be about an hour or so but ended up staying 5 hours Parking was €2.50 ( but the machine didn't accept visa or Mastercard, only Maestro cards) . After that hurdle we did the obligatory pics in 3 countries at once and then moved onto the Maze ( Labyrint) . It was good fun with water obstacles and actually is hard to find the centre . The restaurant queue for burgers and fries was quite long but the food was reasonably priced and not bad for this kind of location. We then climbed the tower to see great views of the 3 countries . We even spotted a Skydeck tower through the trees and walked to that one too. There is a gift shop , play area and lots of bike and walking trails . It can be a quick stop but also a full day here depending on your interests , but either way its worth a visit. Staff were all helpful and friendly. See more..

This is a pretty and spectacular pool perfectly geared for kids and teenagers. We parents get to relax on the outside lawn, as this is not something you would want to participate on more than once. It can get overcrowded real easy on hot summerdays and it made me wonder how many people you can actually fit in here. I have a fear of Heights. That being said, I made the booking for me and my boyfriend (but mostly for him). He loves climing and is a thrill-seeker. So this is a review mostly based on his experience as mine is biased. There are 4 different difficulties and before starting there is a short explanation and a test-climb. I noticed my boyfriend and I were the only adults who actually participated. Most of the trails were fit for adults and children, however we could imagine them being a bit easier for kids (certain tubes you need to climb through, or because they have a lower point of balance). The entire experience was too thrilling for me, even though I knew I was well secured and completely safe, my fear of heights was just too severe. However for the more thrill-seeking-folk I can highly suggest 'Klimbos Weert'. See more..

We went for a 11k walk fro the visitor centre. Grassland, wets and forested. Some old style cattle and many waterbirds, centipieds and mushrooms. Better buy a subscription to enjoy this nice place since you have unlimited access to all. Also only with your subscription you have access to the parc using the second entrance on the back side!(if this is closed you can use the entrance with your subscription) In hot weather this entrance is much faster. Also your car will be in the shade during all day. (entrance near mini-golf attraction)Here you can eat pancakes or use the mini golf(must pay for this). In Steinerbos itself you can use the row-boats free of charge , or go with your kids (until the age below of 12)to the playground free of charge. Or of course you can go swimming in the swimming pool(in the open air)If the weather not allows you to swim outside you can swim inside and still use also the playground. Vandaag met 4 jonge kinderen en 3 volwassenen Valdeludo bezocht en ons super geamuseerd ! Het was een avontuurlijke dag voor groot en klein. Het timmeren van een vliegtuig was een toffe activiteit.
De medewerkers zijn behulpzaam en vriendelijk en het is een proper park.

This is a great stop right off the bike trail to Nunhem. The water mill is fully operational, and you are permitted to walk all around to see how all the grinding stones and wooden gears interact. While we were there they were grinding corn, and it was fascinating to see the mill in action! There is also an interactive museum around back that's pretty interesting (Lots of pictures and interactive exhibits to play with) even if you don't speak Dutch. See more..

A grata surpresa que tive neste lugar, nesta cidade, não tem preço! Após duas semanas de estudos, na véspera da minha saída em direção à Amsterdam, descobri que ia rolar um festival de rock que atraia mais de 50 mil pessoas, maior que a própria população da cidade, e totalmente gratuito! Assim, o que era bom ficou melhor ainda, pois a cidade é linda e acolhedora, e rola muita vida por lá com a universidade Fontys, os bares do centro histórico, e anda essas iniciativas!

It feels like if you are going down to a green valley. I understood the elevation difference with the town center is caused by the fact there used to be a garbage dump here. In the 1950s it was converted into a park. I visited on a very hot day in July and the park felt cool, probably also because of the bodies of water and not just the trees. See more..
