3.5Mondo Verde(558 reviews) - Arround the worl in a garden Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Gardens
We have had a subscription during 3 years of tyhis garden. It takes you arround the world, such as: Marokko, Mexico, Australia, Russia, the Alps, China, Japan, and many more... The Mythical forrest, with its copies of the Garden of monsters in Bomarzo (commisioned by Prince Orsini), with the Giant of the Apennines, the Ogre (the scream that turned into stone)... Even visiting every 2 weeks, the gardens already seem different. Not only gardens to admire, but animal life as well. Would recommend to all.See more..
4.0Jochumhof(47 reviews) - Garden for Plant Lovers Wednesday: Gardens
We're not planning to visit this botanic garden but walking along the river side. Well, as the water was a bit high, we didn't get down and at that moment we saw the sign of Jochumhof. It's located at the corner of the street, along the river. We did take a look, entered the gate but didn't get inside the garden. You can park your car nearbySee more..
4.5Kasteeltuin Oud-Valkenburg(17 reviews) - A delightful garden for people, birds, insects, herbs, vegetables, wild flowers and local history Spent 1-2 hours Gardens
This was once the old kitchen garden of the castle. Now not really a single garden but many small habitat areas, this is a community garden and old working water-mill managed by knowledgeable volunteers who will tell you about the history of the garden, the mill, the heritage plants in the vegetable garden, the special things to see or just let you walk around to watch the dragonflies on the tiny pond and admire the wild flowers in the different habitats. It combines perfectly with a visit to the orchid reserve nearby when that is open. Intended largely for teaching about nature and local communities, this also succeeds in being a wonderful garden in which to spend a few quiet hours. Perhaps the best Heemtuin (a type of Botanical Garden devoted primarily to the local flora and fauna) we have yet seen.See more..

4.0Beeldentuin Maastricht(12 reviews) - Amazing garden and art views, perfect food Spent 1-2 hours Gardens
We visited for a family reunion party. The setup was excellent, the staff is super friendly and would happily explain the statues and herbs / spices garden. All of these herbs and spices are also freshly used in the kitchen. The place has both inside dining with an open kitchen, a terrace but also an outside grill / barbeque "shack" that offers fresh food and drinks in the summer. From the terraces you can see the garden, statues and caves in the rock across the building. The food was absolutely superb, and the staff gave us the time and room to even use a projector for a sort of family game. The location is clean and quite and really makes you feel at home right away!See more..

See more..
