The staff were great and the options for relaxation and comfort were superb. There are options for an all day pass or to enter at 4 p.m. at a reduced rate for the evening. The evening/nigjht time is the best. There are colored lights on many of the hot tubs and the swimming pool for an added effect. They offer snacks and have some free food at certain times, but the locals usually get the jump on tourists. The second best hot springs resort I have experienced in China. Well woth the expence, if you are in the area. Winter time is even better, when there is snow on the surrounding area.See more..

We went to visit the Bird Park and were quite impressed by the layout and the proximity of the birds. The waterfall has many water and ground birds and you can feed these after buying a bag of food for a few rmb. This made photo oppoertunites very good for my husband as he could get up close while I fed various ducks, peilcan, egrets and peacocks. The waterfall makes for a steady climb and is pleasently cool under the many trees. The bird show of 3 times a day is entertaining and viewed by many. It is included in the park fee. The souvenir shop is a bit pricy but entrance to the Birds Park was only 40yuan. The small restuarnant next to the entrance is worth a visit.See more..

Roads are pretty rough and not well marked. The map markers for the National Nature Reserve may refer to possible gated areas. The area furtherest south is a breakwater amid the marshes but the number of trucks using the narrow dirt road make it impossible to park or walk or bike, and the amount of trash at the marsh edge takes some of the pleasure out of watching for sea birds.See more..
