Before coming to this national park in CHINA, I have already admired autumn colours in Korea, Europe, New England. I was pleasantly surprised that the autumn foliage was in much greater abundance in this national park in autumn compared to Korea & Europe. We were welcomed with a riot of colours ranging from golden yellow to orange&scarlet. Good for a driving tour stop with a lotus pond, bridges, some pleasant (but broken paved) shaded paths, and a boat dock for sightseeing boats on the river. Pushihe is one of the better scenic spots in Liaoning Province to view the wonderful autumn/fall crimson red colours of maples leaves. Mid-September to mid-October is the best time for viewing the most colourful maple leaves. There are many varieties of maple leaves. In Liaoning Province the varieties include those with three, five, and thirteen points. Especially in October, sightseers come to view the colourful forests, and many professional photographers, will be here with their large cameras and telescopic lenses, seeking to take unique photos of the forests and colourful leaves. It is especially crowded during the National Day holidays. My attached photos include tear-dropping leaves, mostly red and crimson leaves, but also some of a mixed golden colour, curled up leaves, the meeting of the sun and the maple leaves, crimson leaves in the morning mist, and the sunshine in the woods.See more..
