    Excellent experience
5/5 for the experience not the organisation. Booked sky cab online for next day. Suppose to get two emails through but we didn’t get the second one, the one with code. Emailed them and told to take the confirmation of pay to counter 6, it would be fine. Headed off next day. Couldn’t find counter 6 at first. It is a hut to the right of the main ticket counter. We were one of the first there, at about 9am, so queued as the counters don’t open until 9.30am. It was no problem as we had proof of pay and we were the first people to get on the cable car. It was a scary experience for me (hate heights), so relieved to get to the top. It was confusing at the top as the ticket for the bridge and glide was closed. After waiting for a while, we were told the bridge was closed as windy. About 15 minutes later, it opened, cost RM16 for the bridge and glide each and we took the glide with no queueing and then got on the bridge, it was incredible and the views are outstanding. Although I kept my hand on the railing!! The village area is a bit run down, had to pay for toilets and loo paper separately. We went to the German Corner (part of the food corner) for some lunch which I would highly recommend as excellent, food was cooked fresh and staff are friendly. This is a must do if you come to Langkawi but the organisation of the place is confusing and could be improved. But do go early when it opens, when we left at midday, it was heaving!

Single Rider Lane Required for the Sky Glide
We booked tickets online for the cable car, the Skybridge and the Sky Glide. The line to collect the prebooked tickets was much slower than the walk up purchase line. Waited in line for more than 30 minutes to go down to the Skybridge in the Sky Glide, we ended up walking down the nature trail to the skybridge. It was a hard walk back up. My wife waited over an hour to ride up in the Sky Glide which can hold 1050kg. It was not being filled to capacity, sometimes only 5-6 people. Towards the end of the wait the operator finally called for 1 more person to fill a cabin. A simple initiative would move people much quicker. Overall, the views were spectacular but I would dread visiting on a busy day.
