A must if you are at Zell am See
Great views and lots of walking to undertake. Slightly expensive without the Summer Card, but 10% reduction in being a visitor. Several ways of getting to the top: CBle Car, Gondolas or walk (if you want to). Can't believe the amazing vies 360 degrees from the top. Once at the top you have a choice of ways in getting down - either same way you can up, but certainly recommend walking down the various marked footpaths. As walking through the forests there are more amazing views around each corner

Great skiing, nice views
We spent a week here skiing over new year's. Despite the higher temperature (above 0 on slopes) the snow was good due to the snow making all night. Lower down the mountain it definitely got more icy later in the day. The lifts are great, usually waiting time max 15 minutes (and that is an exception). There are several restaurants on the slopes, most of them seem to cater to deaf people. The music is horrible loud (and bad !) and for some they have rules: for instance you can only sit on the higher up terrace if you order at lease a main course per person. They only tell you this after you are seated (schnappshans), another restaurant (panorama) ran out of food and again we were not told until we finally found a spot after waiting for 30 minutes. They then also told us drinks would take 30-40 minutes and the kitchen had no food left, Interesting since the same restaurant but with self service had plenty ! So I would say, skip these spots. My recommendations: For atmosphere: Ebenbergalm. Nice rustic place with great food at great prices. Couple running this place is very friendly. Try the homemade schnapps ! It is not easy to find (along the 5 down slope) but worth some hiking. If you are walking in summer or winter, take the winterwanderweg 27)For good quality/price and fast service: Eder hutte. Unlike some of the other places these guys have it under control; fast service, good food, friendly people. It is higher up, but worth it.
