The museum is well-organized and you get the chance to see different historical artifacts which were found in the archeological excavations in Sagalassos and Termessos.    The Medusa mosaic is incredible and moving, as are the mosaics surrounding the Odeon. The ancient pipe system is shockingly well-preserved; it looked like it could have been built in this century! Honestly, we were feeling a little burnt out on Roman city ruins after weeks of traveling around Turkey and we almost decided to skip this one.    Most unknown, most unvisited, difficult to locate and to reach because it is located inside the forest. To reach the ancient city, it is only possible by car and in some spots to continue walking about 20-30 min is needed. Definitely very off beaten path and to visit Sia for the ancient city enthusiasts is very worthy. I could really sense and feel being in abandonned secluded ruins of centuries old. Sia is ancient city of Psidia. People called Sia by name of Taştandam. Like other ancient cities there are lots of cisterns, Bouteulerion, many house graves with stone seats, Roman temples and monumental staircase. The city wall is cyclopian style and decorated with eagle symbol. Situated in a slope of a hill and it is not difficult at all to walk around although there is no "city map" (which usually available at the entrance of many ancient city sites). See more..

    Not the easiest place to find, but if you take the Burdur to Yesilova road turn off at a petrol station and follow the signs to the village of Karakent on the north shore of Lake Burdur. Once there it is as per the internet..the lavender was in bloom in mid June and the conservationists are doing a great job on rehabilitating the birds and animals...we saw owls, eagles, storks, a couple of wolves and a wild boar. There is a shop where you can buy oils and lotions made from the lavender.Your money spent on these goes towards the upkeep of the lavender and animal rescue. See more..

    Definitely very off beaten path, one of most unvisited ancient cities, most likely unknown, not easy to reach, with no sign or info of any ruins, but Kremna is worthy to visit for ancient city enthusiast. Outside the ancient city there is a "city map" which can be useful for the visit. The ancient city is in a state of almost complete ruins except some walls and remains of hammam, theatre, columns in forum, and (perhaps) temple's gate. In the area of "collonaded street" there are some blocks with beautiful decoration. 2 hours to spend and walk around. There is nothing around Kremna so to bring snacks and water are necessary.
