-A comparatively small museum is packed with local knowledge
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM History Museums
This comparatively small museum is packed with local knowledge. However as Thyatara which was mentioned in the book of Revelation, which is the last book in the new testament of the Bible. Was famous for its purple die process, but there were no display or acknowledgement. It is opposite the remains of Thyatara. and some interesting information boards and exhibits showing the crafts from days of old. It does not take long to get around but still worth a visit. I understand disabled visitors get in free. The museum is all on one level. See more..

- 4.5 Sardis (Sardes) (145 reviews)
-How to get to the Sardis ancient city and Arthemis Temple
Historic Sites • Ancient Ruins
Sardes/Sardis, capital of Lydia, is located in Salihli, Manisa a western city in Turkey and in a village called SART. If you don't have a car, to get to the Sart from Salihli, find the main bus station and just next to the bus station there is an area for "village buses", small buses. There are many of them, you should look for Sart. It departs in every half hours and costs 3 TL per person. (Same, from the Sart)Trip to Sardis takes about 15 minutes. Buses are not crowded. Tell the driver or show him that you're off at the ancient city. You can't miss anyway, it's on the right side. It's a beatiful ancient city. You'll love it. After you're go out from the Sardis, turn right and walk about 100 meters. You will see Arthemis Temple sign on the left. We walked to the temple and it takes about 20 minutes. Temple is still under reconstruction/restoration. Both were very impressive. Beware in the hot day, keep a hat and bottle of water with you. See more..

-Kuladoccia: Amazing Nature
Spent 2-3 hours Geologic Formations
Nature creates remarkable monuments. This is one of them. They are called ferry-chimneys. It is situated near kula-uşak highway very easy to reach at the eastern side of Salihli-kula jeopark. It is the smaller version of famous Cappadocia ferry-chimneys. But really nice place to see and take photo. There are many dead volcanos around this area and this place is called "burned country" by famous ancient historian Strabon. All the brides and grooms get there to take a photo. It will take 15 min. To see all the important monumanets. There are no place to sit and drink or eat only a man and wife makes traditional snacks called "gözleme" but it is only available in summer. Long story short, you got to see this. It is on your way. See more..

- 4.5 Adala Hermos Kanyonu (10 reviews)
-Amazing and relaxing
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent More than 3 hours Canyons
The canyon is long goes till the you reach the Great demirköprü dam. On the way to Tham nature proposes amazing view that one can't imagine. There are thousands of nice spots to have a picnic, barbecue or set a tent camp. The road is narrow and low cars could have trouble on Rocky way. But at the end it worth to see the canyon. Why you don't take a walk or ride a bicycle. It is a better idea. At the end of the canyon there is a very beautiful, and cool place to visit at summer. There are two restaurants in both sides of the river Bank. You can eat fresh fish with a cheap price. Water and vegetation all around and it is a peaceful place. There are little islands that you can reach with small bridges and have a picnic or barbecue there. But this area is open to public so it may be crowded in weekends. I fully recommend you this place to see the area and at least have a Turkish coffee near the waterfall. See more..

- 4.0 Kursunlu Kaplicalari (65 reviews)
-Huzur ve sakinlik
Sightseeing Tours
See more..
