- 5.0 Eskisehir Eti Arkeoloji Muzesi (11 reviews)
-Compact and Interactive
History Museums
Eskişehir has a lot of attractions for tourists and usually there are queues in front of museums and similar destinations. This archeological museum is different: it's a bit away from the center of usual touristic attractions (though still in walking distance from downtown) and there is very few people visiting it, probably because archeology is not the number one interest area for the tourists coming to this city. So, in case you are an archeology fan, you will have an easy visit. Museum card is valid here. The museum has a beautiful garden where some of the artifacts are exhibited. The indoor sections are large, spacious. The exhibits are mainly from the local excavations. There are also interactive activities such as driving a chariot or simulation of a pterosaur's flight, which are great fun not only for children but for adults also. There is also a museum café, which we saw from a distance. See more..

- 4.5 Daglik Frigya Yazilikaya Vadisi (22 reviews)
-Vast Open Air Archeology Museum
Spent 2-3 hours Ancient Ruins
This valley is no different than a vast open air archeological museum: this whole valley is paved with remnants of Phrygian civilization: tombs, temples, cisterns, chambers caved into the rocks. It's astonishingly rich in history and there isn't even an entrance fee. Though monuments and such big parts are easy to spot, majority of the archeological findings are here and there, immersed by the nature. So, it's really imperative to visit the place with a guide. Many of the major monuments such as Midas Monument or Gerdekkaya have pedestrian pathways but the rest of the area requires real trekking. Make sure you have water and snacks with you as there aren't any such place around except for Midas Han, a boutique hotel which also serves lunch. Another must see in Turkey, don't miss it.
