   A different experience, swapping the peace and quiet of old town Fethiye for something pacy. The outing itself was managed well, from pickup to return. Büşra was extremely helpful and organised everything for us. Payment options are in $,€ and Lira. The main outing itself was loud, and the ATVs functioned well. There was a small 10-15 training round before the main event of 40 or so minutes through different trails and amongst sweeping forest views. The vehicles were easy enough to manage, perhaps for the future a more open space can also be looked at to let customers stretch their wings and go faster, as everyone had to follow in a line so it was a slower ride. Take sunglasses & headwear, though both are available at the site. Lockers are free but quite small, though you don’t get messy enough to need a change of clothes. You can buy your pictures, but not one or two at a time, seems like you can buy only a whole set for 300lira. Staff was friendly throughout. See more..

    The management of the Museum was very clever in creating a Museum not only of Hierapolis, but also collecting artifacts from other archelogical sites of Laodiceia, Colossae, Tripolis, Attuda, Beycesultan Hüyük. Tourists will not go there, but there is a huge tourist traffic in Pamukkale. Only a small part of them will go to the Museum, although the price is low (5 liras). But even 10% of the visitors will be enough that the Museum silence will be replaced by the hubbub of tourists. The Museum is small in size, although it is located in one of the largest buildings in Hierapolis - the Roman baths. Therefore, the best option is to visit in the morning.     I have visited many ancient cities in Turkey and I have to say this is really fantastic. There is currently a lot of archaeological work being done on the site and this is very interesting. There were three huge cranes working to restore one of the amphitheatres, there are two.Also there is a spectacular piece of Agoura wall that has been rebuilt and there is beautifully painted murals all on the inside of the wall and under the arch that are really remarkable. The wall fell over in an earthquake and the murals were preserved underneath. There are no facilities other than toilets on this site and very little shade. There were hardly any visitors there especially compared to the Heliopolis opposite on the other side of the valley. See more..

    We used Pamukkale tours bus service to travel from Antalya to Denizli. The bus service is prompt, comfortable and punctual. The bus stopped at a restaurant on the highway. The break was adequate and the travel very comfortable. Would highly recommend the bus service and whenever you stop at Antalya bus station and see the counter of Pamukkale Tours, don't have any reservations on traveling with them. See more..

    Worth going the ticket costs just 2TL, easy to get there if you have a car of your own. It is a mini Pamukkale but in a cave. Its nice and warm inside even when its cold outside as the water running through is hot and the walls of the cave avoids the warmth escaping.     This is one of the largest Roman cemetaries. Due to past tomb robbers the graves have been opened and upturned, so it is an eerie and sad place. The tombs are green and black from the moss. It is a bit overwhelming to see the size of this cemetary. The local area, with the hot springs, attracted many sick people looking for a cure for their ailments. Apparently the Romans did not believe in sending the bodies back to their home towns. It is about a 45 minute walk from the hot springs park. See more..

    What a once in a lifetime experience to walk barefoot up a calcium mountain through puddles and ponds of the clearest water. At the top we splurged and paid the 100 lr price to swim in Cleopatra's pool which was amazing.     It is possible to visit Tripolis by public transport. From Denizli bus terminal at peron 81 the minibus will go to Yenicekent. The minibus will stop in front of a small restaurant and Tripolis is still 1 km away from minibus stop. Lucky me the friendly minibus driver dropped me in front of the ancient city. The schedule of minibus Denizli - Yenicekent is not designed for tourists, it is for local residents. I had to wait for some hours to travel back to Denizli. Tripolis is relatively small ancient city compare to the other two of Hierapolis and Laodikea. There are some sites which have been restored but much not yet discovered. The theatre is still intact in ruined state - the most impressive one for me. See more..
