   One of the coldest trips up here , the roads were very steep and dangerous. Weather was excellent to those who like to experience cold weather. The hotel we stayed did not have much of a warm comforter , simple blankets so best to wear a jacket to sleep. See more..

   What an unbelievable drive up the mountain road, to get to the summit, lost count of all of the hairpin bends & extremely sharp turns. Once you reach the top, 1768 Metres up, you really are above the clouds. Make sure you are awake early in the morning, to witness the sun rising through the clouds, fantastic. See more..

   A rather steep, windy and narrow drive up the mountain will get you to the "cabbage fields" and further on to yet a somewhat narrower and rutted secondary road and finally to the temple in the hills beyond the gaudy what Thais call "resorts". It is an area of hill tribes and the people and food are delightful if somewhat shy and reserved. The temple is ongoing and there appears to be a Christian mission in the village. See more..
