Negative, in regards to the atrocities committed, the families who witnessed it, lived it and stories relayed. Positive – in keeping the memory alive and to continue telling the story to all future generations and hopefully prevent anything remotely similar happening again. We chose to do the 1 hour Danube cruise from doc 6 which was an added option to the red bus city tour, as it turned out this was a good choice the views where amazing. Please note, some of the steps joining the two docking boats can be steep. When you disembark I would recommend a visit to the sculpture of shoes on the river bank outside the parliament building. it can be easily reached by catching the trolley / tram which is front of you as you get of the boat. (Note: is ‘not’ a natural spring spa if you particularly want that). Recommend a cabin for minor additional cost if you have larger personal items to store or want changing privacy.
