   Longquan mountain is a great place to visit if you have the time. Just the drive out to the mountain is amazing. There are 3 stages of this place. The lowest level is the entrance gate, hotel, restaurants, snack/gift shops. There is an auto-train which can give you a ride from the lower area to about halfway up the mountain. In the midsection is a playground, some trails to hike, and a large reservoir which I heard is the source of the Oujiang RIver. Then you need to decide if you want to make the trip to the top. There are two paths, I suggest going up one and down the the other. For a special treat you can hike up before light and catch the sunrise on the mountain top. Allow at least 1.5 hours to hike up (if in shape) and bring 2 flashlights. See more..

   There are very good guides who speaks fluently English! But most of the objects have a translation in English. When you come on sunday afternoon in springtime, the grasfield around the museum is crowded with children and adults playing with their kites. Amazing! See more..

   This is the "old" museum, or more accurately, the first museum to be built in Longquan. In the past it was both Celedon and Swords, however after the completion of the "New" Celedon Museum this one has now been totally devoted to swords. To get there, you start to head up the road to get to the park on top of the hill and it's through a large metal gate on your right, when you get to the first sharp left on the main road. There is no fee to go in. It has the history of swords in Longquan, how to make swords (past and present), and a selection of ancient and recently made swords from local swordsmiths.
