We went for a family lunch on a Saturday. We were the only ones in the restaurant but that didn't matter. We were welcomed in a very warm and friendly way and felt at home. The fire in the fireplace greatly added to the feeling of coziness. We all chose the set menu, although we still had the choice between a variety of dishes with meat or fish. With our aperitif we received different finger foods like the typical Dutch 'bitterballen' and ham. All the dishes came just in time, the food was really fresh and tasty. No complaints at the table. Being the only ones present didn't bother us much. The tab was also a positive factor. You really get good value for your money. We will certainly go back to this restaurant. I think it's a great place to stop when you're biking through the country side.See more..

DANGER!! sums up the indoor pool, the lifeguards are child age, they tend to site around and dont "police" the pool, one young girl with very short shorts and dark hair/glasses sat around the whole time were were there (2 hours) chatting with her friend, there is a no balls in the pool rule, loads of people throwing balls, children must be accompanied, this rarely happened with one child hurting themselves on the water slide and we had to interrupt the life guard to get her attention from her mate, there is a fast water slide that you must move away from the splash area once down, this never happened and is not policed, I saw an adult come down the slide straight into children who were unaccompanied playing in the splash area, someone will be seriously injured and the management need to deal with this immediately, as for the man made beaches, the sand is like cement and the its littered with rubbish.See more..

I live locally and go there once a year, they have great short films for kids and it is awesome for a young one to see the whole universe revolve on the dome screen, and underwater life and it is much better value than the regular cinema!
