Another a day trip with our Seniors Club and a lovely day apart for the last half hour when it poured with rain with very little options for shelter. We started with a guided tour of what is called 'The smallest city in the world'! though barely the size of a small village, which included various 'tastings' of local products. The first of which, before we left the Tourist Office , was Beer and Goat's cheese. This was followed by five or six more stops during the tour which lasted about two hours. After dinner in a restaurant on the main square we made a tour of the shops to purchase some of the local products we had sampled that morning. A fascinating place and well worth another visit by car if you don't mind narrow winding country roads.See more..
