I went to see this Château on an organised tour. We paid to have a historian JJ take us around the Château for a 2 hour period, explaining the history from the 1700’s to current date. Excellent information. The building has many artefacts on display, most notably silver. It is well laid out, without a guide it would take an hour inside to walk around and read. They provide you with shoe covers, to protect the floor. Cloakroom and washroom complementary. €6 adult fee entrance. They also have a restaurant located outside the main Château in the grounds. I would book in advance for a reservation for eating. The building was well heated and insulated. A nice day out. See more..
