If you are walking the beaches of Santos the point at Jose Menino divides Praia do Gonzaga from Praia do Itararé, At this point is the Monument 100 Years of Japanese Immigration by artist Tomie Ohtakere. Until you are right up to it you don't realize how immense this is. Although i saw some energetic people climbing on it, to me its mostly a place to walk to. 4.5Centro Historico(289 reviews) - quiet historical center Points of Interest & Landmarks
Very nice place to stay for half a day. It´s so calm, poetic. There are two or three short streets with colonial houses (houses from XVI to XIX centuries). There is a big church for Santa Ana, and the center is not far from the river Tietê, that´s unfortunately polluted in this part, but you can recompound the original sightseeing from when the city was stablished. There are a lot of green areas around, on the hills. It´s not a dangerous place because exactly in front of the church there is a police division. It´s really worthwhile if you are in Sao Paulo and wants to relax for some hours at the weekend.See more..

Atrasamos um pouco nosso roteiro porque estava ocorrendo uma corrida e muitas ruas estavam interditadas. Já começava a escurecer. Adoramos fazer trilhas!! (It is a wooded, pleasent and well-kept site with free admission to trails, while tree climbing, zip lines and other activities for children and adults to enjoy are paid for. We made the trail and went to the Silver Shower because it was already getting dark. We delayed our script a title because there was a race going on and many streets were closed.
