So, we didn't use the funicular to go up. My brother-in-law has a friend that lives in the Morro, and so we were granted free entry. The way up was interesting, to say the least. Just don't do it on your own, unless you are with someone that is from Santos, as it is a mildly dangerous neighborhood (I say mildly, because we were told there are worse ones in Santos). It is almost 400 steps up, and the view is well worth it. On the way up, there are little stops, with plaques narrating the story of Jesus' journey with the cross. You have a full view from the Church (that is right outside the casino, just don't wander too far off) of Santos. In the Casino, you can have a coffee and a snack, and you can also go up the stairs, where there is a ball room. If you go another floor up, you have a terrace that has an even better view of the city of Santos.See more..

This Morro do Cuscuzeiro is in a private farm, and it costs R$ 8,00 to spend all time you want there. There is a large place for camping, bathrooms, parking place and two main trails. One of them takes you to the Morro do Cuscuzeiro, an exciting climbing! I found it hard for children. This trail in fact takes you to the base of that rock you see on photos, climbing to the very top is just for climbers. But from that base you can have a very beautiful view of the city and surrounds! It´s worthwhile! The other trail takes you to a small pool. Unfortunately I couldn´t reach it, because there was cattle in the middle of the trail, and of course I was afraid! I think they should prevent them to be there... I lost this opportunity... They offer horse riding, and soon they will open a small water park there too. It´s easy to arrive to this farm, around 2km from the city.See more..

Ao ler as avaliações pude perceber que há dois locais no mesmo tópico. Talvez seja importante esclarecer, para melhor compreensão:
Mirante do Cruzeiro - Acesso pela escadaria, localizada ao lado da Igreja Matriz, que dá acesso as 14 estações projetadas em esculturas, destacando o trajeto que foi percorrido por Jesus carregando a cruz desde o Pretório até ao Calvário. Não há possibilidades de chegar ao local de carro. A subida é muito ingrime e o acesso por ser de terra e com muitas pedras, pode dificultar para algumas pessoas. Ao chegar no topo, há uma capela e umas esculturas retratando o sepultamento de Cristo. A vista do alto é incrível e recomendo calçar sapatos adequados para trilha e levar água para a hidratação.
Morro do Cruzeiro (Cristo) - Local de fácil acesso, que pode ser realizado com carro. No local tem uma estátua de Cristo e a vista maravilhosa de toda a cidade. Fazer fotos neste local, é um diferencial. Há bancos para descanso.See more..

Fiz o voo duplo do paraglider. Foi a melhor sensação do mundo! O instrutor Jakson foi muito atencioso, visando primeiro a nossa segurança. Esperamos um bom tempo para conseguir saltar, pois o vento não está tão favorável. Após saltarmos, todo tempo o instrutor perguntou se estava bem, se queria que subisse ou descesse. Lá no morro tem um banheiro e um carinha que vende Salgado, como é distante de tudo esse Salgado salva a vida hahaha. Acho que todo mundo deveria ter essa experiência.See more..

It's possible to get there from São Paulo by CPTM. Get the train at Luz or Barra Funda until Varzea Paulista. It is possible to cross the "Serra do Mursa" from it's right or left side. I started from the right to the left. There is a steep climb from the right side almost arriving to the top, so if you intend to go camping, I recommend to start it from the left side. The view of the landscape and of the city is incredible. If the weather is sunny it is important to take a lot of water and protect from the sun, as most part of the trail is uncoverd.See more..

4.0Mirante do Cruzeiro(1 review) - Subida intensa, vista linda Spent 1-2 hours Mountains É importante pegar informação antes, porque o acesso de carro não tem nenhuma sinalização e tivemos sorte de encontrar alguns moradores pelo caminho para indicar. Seguimos pelo Google Maps, mas não é preciso e o trajeto indicado termina em lugar nenhum. Pode-se deixar o carro na estradinha de terra em meio a um palmiteiro. De lá, começa uma trilha de aproximadamente 1,5 km com trechos que variam entre média e forte inclinação. O topo é aberto, quase sem vegetação, e com rochas expostas, o que facilita a visualização da paisagem em todos os ângulos.See more..
