While my friend, Ary, worked out at JustFit Sports Center (excellent, friendly Staff!), I walked all four floors for MY exercise for the hour. A nice variety of stores within the building also. We usually ate lunch at the Rizzoto Mix (sp) because of their expansive menu and NEVER spent less than $3.50 to no more than $5.00 each for excellent food! Located on the third floor of Boulevard Shopping Center. Second Floor housed the Johnny Rockets Original Hamburger Restaurant but too pricey! For those who are travelling in the country side of the state of São Paulo, this shopping mall is a good stop. Do not expect famous brands or superb restaurants. The place is sufficiently for buying things that your might have forgotten or are needing. There is a cinema inside, but bear in mind that majority of movies are dubbed. Ditinho Joana’s place is magical. He is one of the best woodcarving artist I have seen. His sculptures on jacarandá logs show the local rural culture. Each piece has a story to it. Ditinho is also a great story teller which makes this visit still more interesting. His atelier is located in the Quilombo Square in São Bento do Sapucaí. You can order online via Facebook (search his page and contact him via Messenger), since his pieces sell like water in the desert and it is very likely you will find only the most expensive pieces. But anyway you should go to his atelier, because itself is a work of art, and his passion and knowledge are contagious. Not to mention the pieces smell SO nice.
