    The view from the tower is 360 degrees and fantastic! However, a big problem is that it can only really be seen through large glass windows and the windows are dirty. Nice photos cannot be taken and the view cannot be appreciated as much. Also, aside from a Japanese/ international restaurant only opened for dinner, the place is completely dead! No stores, no cafes, not even the Hard Rock cafe anymore!! It felt scary actually. It costs R$10 to go to the observation deck. It is challenging to get to the tower/building with public transportation and there are no taxis there. If you take a taxi you should make sure it is waiting for you. It's too bad the place is do abandoned and dead. Hopefully it will soon be filled with action (no idea about any plans; there didn't seem to be any indications of any changes). See more..
