Best Castle
Parking is a bit far, about 15 min walk to the castle, wear comfortable shoes. On the way, there are several local traders that sell delicious corn on a cob and glazed apples. Unfortunately, you cannot buy tickets online therefore depending on the period (summer and weekends are very busy) you might queue for a few minutes or hours. I would recommend being there before 11-12 AM to avoid the crowds. There are 3 options for tickets : 50 RON (basic tour = ground floor), 100 RON (optional 1 = ground floor + floor 1), 150 RON (optional 2 = ground floor + floor 1 and 2). If you've never visit it, I recommend getting the full pass as each floor has something interesting. The ground floor is the most surprising one, the 1st floor has the apartment of the king, and the 2nd floor has several apartments for the visitors. The outside courtyard is also nice, and the views of the castle are breathtaking. Nearby there is the royal café (drinks, pizza, and deserts) and some restaurants. If you are in Sinaia, this is a must!

Useful tips for your visit at the Castle!
I've visited the castle in 2017 with a friend of mine, with a tour guided group from Bucharest. The trip was very pleasant and having a guide surely helps! What wasn't cool was that upon entry to the castle, the guide told us that if we wanted to take photos, we had to pay an extra fee. A few days ago, I visited the castle again, with my husband this time, and we went by train and foot, without the guide. First of all, there's no extra fee to take photos! A fee applies only to professional photographers and that's a signed licence. If you go to the Sinaia train station as well, there's a bus that can get you pretty close to the castle and then you'll still have a 10' walk. Also, you can leave you luggage at the lady at the station for 10 lei/bag (you can find her at the WC). We didn't know about the bus and walked all the way to the castle from the train station, through a lot steep stairs all the way up! It was like walking to Mordor, but the path that Frodo & Sam took!!! Anyway, when we finally reached the castle, you can go straight in if you've bought your ticket online, something I totally recommend, as we skipped the huge waiting line! The ticket was decent priced and the castle was majestic! The 1st time I visited, with the tour guide, we had the basic tour and it was very nice, he explained lot of stuff and we learned a lot about the royal family. Now, the 2nd time, we took the optional tour I and II and honestly, they didn't worth it. Especially the optional tour II was just some guest bedrooms, very plain and basic. The optional tour I included the royal family's bedrooms, that was very nice, but if you don't have enough time and money to give to Peles Castle, then the basic tour is just fine! The castle's both exterior and interior is absolutely beautiful, it was one of the most pretty things I've ever seen and totally recommend it!
