Beautiful

Extremely beautiful monastery, a must in Sinaia. I specially loved the small older chapel with the classic representation of hell to the right and heaven to the left, with beautiful colours and fun torture for the sinners :) There is a payable parking space right beside the monastery. In fact it's also kinda between Peles castle also, so its perfect to visit them "together" as there is a pleasant walk through the woods connecting them!

    Beautiful monastery and art monument
    This is a beautiful example of Romanian religious art. Beautifully located, it displays very nice examples of Romanian arhitectural design, with very nice decorations. Interior walls present King Carol I and his wife Queen Elisabeta holding the arm of their only child/daugther, dead at the age of 4. Connected through a small passage there is the old church. Really beautiful as well, it is hundreds of year older. A place not to be missed.

    Peaceful and serene plus a toilet break!
    In between visiting Bran Castle and Peles Castle, this is a good place to stop, they have toilets for public use, stretch your legs and enjoy the beauty of the peacefulness inside. The outside reminded me of Rila Monastery we had visited earlier in our trip in Bulgaria. The architecture was somewhat similar but this one is smaller, but the inside art is very beautiful. If you are in the area, do see.
