The Museum of Galician People was created in 1976 with the objectives of research and the preservation, dissemination, defence and promotion of Galician culture in all areas, and, specifically, to create and develop a museum at the service of these goals. The first rooms were opened in 1977. The Museum has permanent galleries dedicated to the sea, the trades, the land, el costume, the music, al habitat and architecture, the society and the press and printing. The criterion used in its creation aims to provide an overall view of all the different facets that define the culture of Galicia. Far from enclosing this complex cultural phenomenon within the physical realm of the museum, the aim is to provide a compendium of the diversity of Galicia which can serve as a reference for evaluating the variety of forms within the group and to encourage interest in first-hand knowledge and the search for future alternatives. 2. 4.5 Castle of San Anton (536 reviews)
    - Nice

Entrance is €2 per person so it would be worth it even if it were empty walls. But it's not just empty walls, it's an archeology museum with quite a few things to see and the views are really nice. If you're here, don't think about it, just go in. Recommendation to management: all the writings are in Galician and Spanish only. It would be great to have them in English as well so that us international visitors can learn about your history too. ES NECESARIO REALIZAR RESERVA PREVIA VÍA TELEFÓNICA. AFORO LIMITADO. See more..

After spending 1 week driving around Portugal with my family we decided to explore the north of Spain. We could not have been happier to end up in Mondonedo and discover this amazing architecture !! My wife is an architect and she in love with medieval buildings so we thought about having a closer look at this monument. First thing impressive is the size of the property, overlooking at the whole valley and little village. Lucky enough we met the owner of the building and he offered us a full visit of the place!! What a surprise to find someone speaking english and welcoming us with so much passion and knowledge about the history! This is definitely a top experience to do if you are around !! Thank you again to the owner about sharing your passion The French and British family -- May 2019 ;) See more..
