Very smart layout in a number of rooms in old naval buildings. It has a traditinal layout so there is little of the "hands on /experiential " exibits designed for children these days. There is little in English apart from one wall with a chart and explanation of the failure of the Spanish Armarda. The sentiment expressed was that the Spanish were not defeated by the British navy but a number of complex factors working against them. In a way that is all true but maybe the Spanish don't use the management saying " fail to prepare then prepare to fail"! If for no other reason its worth a visit to avoid the rain and its free.See more..
