These Roman walls still stand after more than 1,700 years. Originally, there were 10 gates and 85 towers (of which 71 remain intact). Getting up on top of the walls for a walk is not difficult and the reward is the opportunity to experience Lugo's glory days. This is a National Monument and a World Heritage Site. On the Iberian Peninsula, it is the best preserved and relatively intact Roman wall. When walking, be certain to look for the Medieval sculptural elements of Knights on horseback and all other exceptional pieces while exploring the walls. See more..

Castro de Baroña are Celtic ruins located close to the sea in a little peninsula, in Galicia Region, in the North of Spain. Really the remains of the town are very well-preserved and you can walk around it and see wonderful views of the surroundings, especially the sea. It was inhabitated between 1th Century b.C. and 1th Century a.C. and it has a magic atmosphere, specially if you are a pre-historia lover. We came here at sunrise and we could see different colors in the sea and the ruins, really wonderful. Walk, see, take photos and enjoy the place! See more..
