4.5Cathedral De Santiago de Compostela(10.7k reviews) - Museum and rooftop tour Spent More than 3 hours Historic Sites • Architectural Buildings • Religious Sites
The cathedral is nice, it reminds of other big cathedrals for example in Leon, Burgos, Toledo. I am used to Spanish cathedrals. The entrance is free but I think it is worth it to pay for the museum and the tour of the rooftop (requires a bit good conditions because the rooftop has some steep stairs). I paid 10 euro per person and enjoyed. The museum is really big and there is a lot to see, whereas the rooftop tour lasts about one hour and it is guided so you get nice information about the construction of the cathedral and can also ask questions. Overall a nice experience!See more..
The front doors are closed. Facing the front of the church turn left and then walk towards the church and turn left to go around down the alley. You’ll get to the museum entrance. Enter the museum and pay 5 euros or 4 for pilgrims. Enter the museum to get to this stunning church. I am amazed it wasn’t packed with tourists. This church is jaw droppingly beautiful. Then to find the museum - find the WC toilets and on the opposite side you’ll see a sign that says Continue. Walk up those stairs to see the museum. You can walk to the top of the church and look down on the altar as well. This church is well worth the visit, and again, I am stunned it wasn’t packed with tourists. All I can guess is that folks haven’t figured out they can get to the church through the museum entrance.See more..
Colegio PP Escolapios is a big and very nice building located in the center of Monforte de Lemos, a town in Galicia Region, in the North of Spain. Nowadays this building has a school (Colegio de Nuestra Señora de la Antigua is also known), which you can visit in a guided visit. We decided to do it, which was very interesting. We could learn a lot about the building, the history and the school. Also, we could visit a little museum and the main church. Recommendable guides visit. 4.5Juderia de Ribadavia(113 reviews) - An Interesting part of Jewish history. Points of Interest & Landmarks • Architectural Buildings
I have Jewish friends around the world and I know that they would love to visit Ribadavia and hear about the Jewish History there. My family and I toured the castle and a small museum while audio machines talked to us (in any language) all the way round. It was very interesting and only cost 7 Euros for two adults and two children.See more..
