Small statue at the end of the main street in Bogense. See it if you are in town but don't waste petrol driving there. The statue is 56 cm high and the plinth is 2 m. The statue was revealed in March 1934. It is a copy of the same statue in Brussels from 1619. At the time it was considered quite daring to put up the statue of a peeing boy. At the time it became something of a sensation in Denmark and quite a tourist attraction. These days the statue seems very small. Changing times have deminished the effect of the small statue.See more..

We enjoyed a visit and lunch on the historic site of a noble’s home. Appa, the buildings had fallen into disrepair, but concerned folks took action and have been patiently restoring the buildings and property. Such a serene location. Its a place full of very nice craft and lots of history and culture. You get to try lots of cool stuff. You can forge, make copper jewlery and viking runes.
