Is this it?!

Small statue at the end of the main street in Bogense. See it if you are in town but don't waste petrol driving there. The statue is 56 cm high and the plinth is 2 m. The statue was revealed in March 1934. It is a copy of the same statue in Brussels from 1619. At the time it was considered quite daring to put up the statue of a peeing boy. At the time it became something of a sensation in Denmark and quite a tourist attraction. These days the statue seems very small. Changing times have deminished the effect of the small statue.

Just say hello to him if you are in the area
During stays in Bogense we always passes by theis small guy, just to se if he is OK :-) Don't expect anything, just enjoy the statue and take a small break on the benches.

    I know you.... Manneke pis
So far away from Brussel you can find a duplicate of this little man. Awkward finding to find him in this little village under sime trees in a nice street. Nothing much else to see, but if you haven't been to Belgium you can at least tell others you have seen the little man as well.
